A number of police roadblocks will be in place around the Zoo. Roadblocks will require a Zoo NYE car park ticket (available to pre pre-purchase). To avoid issues car park ticket holders should arrive from Prince Albert Street.

Transport
Getting here
- Ferries may not be running in the late afternoon if there is heavy boat traffic.
- The public bus that meets the ferry at Taronga Wharf up to the Zoo entrance will not be running due to Police road closures and there is no entry from the bottom of the zoo.
- If using public transport, catch a bus to the Zoo from Sydney CBD.
- Visit www.transportnsw.info or call 131 500 for up-to-date information and timetables.
- A number of police roadblocks will be in place around the Zoo and the Sydney Harbour foreshore area and access around these roadblocks will require a Zoo NYE car park ticket (available to pre pre-purchase).
- All patrons with a Zoo NYE car park ticket should arrive at the Zoo from Prince Albert Street rather than Bradleys Head Road to avoid road blocks.
Leaving the event
- Pedestrian diversions will be in place on New Year’s Eve. The way you leave may be different to how you arrived. Be prepared for a longer walk to transport hubs.
- After the fireworks limited ferries to Circular Quay will leave Taronga Zoo wharf at 12:54am and 1:54am.
- Buses will run regularly from Taronga Zoo towards Military Road where you can connect with other bus services.
